Registered Nurse - Neuro ICU - Night Shift

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse for our Neuro ICU, responsible for providing direct patient care to critically ill neurological and neurosurgical patients in a high-acuity setting.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and managing patients with complex neurological conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, seizures, hemorrhage, and spinal injuries.
• Utilizing advanced critical care interventions like ventilator support, intracranial pressure monitoring, and titratable drips.
• Performing detailed neurological assessments and responding swiftly to clinical changes.
• Collaborating with neurologists, neurosurgeons, intensivists, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least one year of acute nursing experience.
• Current RN licensure in the appropriate state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
