About the role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join a growing Neurosurgical ICU team, providing direct patient care for critically ill neurological and neurosurgical patients.
Responsibilities
- Caring for patients with conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, seizures, and spinal cord injuries
- Monitoring advanced critical care interventions like ventilators and intracranial pressure management
- Performing detailed neurological assessments
- Responding swiftly to patient changes
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team including neurologists, neurosurgeons, and respiratory therapists
Qualifications
- Nursing degree from an accredited school
- At least one year of acute care experience
- Current RN licensure
- BLS certification
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
