About the role
Join a growing Neurosurgical ICU team as a Registered Nurse, providing direct patient care for critically ill neurological and neurosurgical patients. You will care for patients with conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, seizures, intracranial hemorrhage, and spinal cord injuries.
Responsibilities
- Monitor ventilated patients
- Manage advanced critical care interventions
- Perform detailed neurological assessments
- Respond swiftly to patient condition changes
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including neurologists, neurosurgeons, intensivists, respiratory therapists, and pharmacists to deliver exceptional care
Requirements
- At least one year of acute nursing experience
- Current RN licensure
- BLS certification
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's degree preferred
