Registered Nurse - Neuro ICU - Night Shift

About the role

The RN Clinical Nurse Critical Care provides high-quality, safe, and individualized patient care in a Neuro Vasc ICU setting. They collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, utilizing evidence-based practice, critical thinking, and cultural competence to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation)
• Partner with patients and families
• Coordinate care
• Promote safety and quality
• Support performance improvement
• Participate in research and evidence-based initiatives
• Serve as preceptor or mentor to foster professional growth and ensure a skilled workforce
• Proactively plan patient care across the continuum and develop protocols to improve outcomes

Qualifications

• Diploma or BSN from an accredited program
• Current RN license (single or multi-state)
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• 1-5 years of direct patient care experience
