Registered Nurse - MedSurg - Full-Time - Night Shift

About the Role

The Med Surg RN supports high-impact, multi-campus care teams by delivering personalized, evidence-based nursing care, building meaningful patient connections, and driving positive outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Foster teamwork and collaboration within multi-disciplinary care teams.
• Contribute to performance improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice.
• Mentor colleagues and support professional development.
• Apply research findings to enhance patient care and outcomes.
• Ensure efficient resource management and proactive care planning.
• Enhance patient experiences and reduce readmissions through targeted interventions.

Requirements

• Accredited nursing degree (ADN or BSN).
• Active RN licensure.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Med Surg experience.
• Proficiency in data entry and basic technology.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• National specialty certification in Med Surg or related field.
• Familiarity with Epic and 3M systems.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and time management skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and thrive in fast-paced clinical environments.
