About the Role

Provides direct nursing care in a Med Surg department, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, coordinating multidisciplinary efforts, and ensuring accurate communication of patient conditions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary coordinator for patient care
• Follow physician and nursing orders
• Assess discharge planning needs with the healthcare team

Qualifications

• Valid RN licensure or eligibility in Alabama
• BLS certification within one month of hire
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program with professional licensure
