About the Role
Provide direct nursing care within established policies and protocols, serving as a primary coordinator for patient care. Implement and monitor care plans, assess patient conditions, communicate observations, and execute physician and nursing orders. Coordinate discharge planning with healthcare team members.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patient conditions, record findings, and communicate effectively.
- Ensure well-coordinated, multidisciplinary care and proper discharge planning.
Requirements
- Current or eligible RN licensure by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire, accepted from AHA or Red Cross.
- Diploma from an accredited nursing program and professional licensure at hire.
