Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical - Full Time - Night Shift

About the role

Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating care effectiveness. Coordinates patient care with other departments, maintains patient rights and confidentiality, and upholds organizational standards.

Responsibilities

• Caring for diverse patients in a 30-bed Med/Surg unit
• Supporting patients with GI, Oncology, Post-Op, COPD, Pneumonia, UTI, dehydration, and wound care
• Maintains RN-to-patient ratio of 1:6, supported by Patient Care Associates
• Ensures quality care, teamwork, and accountability

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited RN program
• Active RN license (state-specific or compact)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Meets state board requirements

Skills

• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform bending or kneeling as needed
