About the role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Medical-Surgical unit. In this role, you will provide patient care using the nursing process, ensure patient rights and confidentiality, and coordinate with other departments. Both new graduates and experienced nurses are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care and adjust plans as needed.
- Maintain professional accountability and adhere to hospital standards.
- Provide direct patient care using the nursing process.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements
- Valid RN license in the state of Missouri.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate, Diploma, or BSN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Prior hospital experience is preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Mobility to perform essential nursing tasks.
