Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical - Full Time - Night Shift

About the role

Provide comprehensive patient care utilizing the nursing process. Evaluate care effectiveness, coordinate with other departments, maintain patient rights and confidentiality, and ensure adherence to mission, values, and standards.

Unit overview

Cares for adult medical patients with conditions such as small bowel obstructions, respiratory infections, and pneumonia. Provides an environment to develop core Med Surg skills, assessment abilities, and manage diverse medical needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
• Current RN license in Missouri or valid compact licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire

Preferred: BSN, additional certifications, prior hospital experience

Physical requirements

• Lifting up to 50 lbs
• Prolonged standing and walking
• Performing various physical movements necessary for nursing duties
