Seeking a registered nurse for a Med/Surg unit specializing in patient care and coordination.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care
- Evaluate care effectiveness and coordinate with other departments
- Maintain patient rights and confidentiality
- Ensure care aligns with organizational standards and values
Key Duties
- Provide direct patient care in a 30-bed unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6
- Support patients with diverse conditions such as GI, Oncology, Post-Op, COPD, and complex wound care
- Collaborate with patient care associates and other team members
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited RN program with an active RN license
- Certifications in ACLS and BLS (or within 30 days of hire)
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform bending or kneeling
