About the Role

Provides leadership and coordination of nursing staff in a clinical unit, ensuring quality patient care and adherence to clinical objectives.

Responsibilities

• Assigns, directs, educates, and evaluates nursing staff
• Assesses patient care needs and develops care plans
• Collaborates with advanced practice providers
• Monitors patient outcomes and addresses care concerns
• Manages staff shifts and ensures quality care delivery
• Evaluates effectiveness of patient care
• Responds to complaints and performs other assigned duties
• Participates in hiring and training of staff

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• At least one year of RN experience
• Current RN license and BLS certification in the relevant state
• Physical ability for standing, walking, lifting, and other physical tasks
• Alertness to safety requirements
