Registered Nurse - Medical Pulmonary Unit - Night Shift

Position: Registered Nurse - Medical Pulmonary Unit - Nights Responsibilities: Assess patients and gather health data involving patients, families, and healthcare providers.Coordinate patient care plans to ensure interventions are safe, timely, and appropriate.Communicate effectively in person, via phone, and in writing with colleagues and patients.Individualize patient and family education based on thorough assessments to meet learning needs.Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness.Maintain current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations. Qualifications & Skills: Associate’s degree or BSN from an accredited nursing school.Current Illinois nursing license.Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association. Key Duties: Providing comprehensive patient assessments, care coordination, education, and quality improvement to deliver safe, effective nursing care in a hospital setting.
