Registered Nurse - Medical - Days - Part Time

About the Role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to provide compassionate patient care on a medical respiratory floor specializing in pulmonary and lung-related conditions such as COPD, pneumonia, and asthma. Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring professional accountability and patient rights. Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams and maintain confidentiality. Perform duties aligned with organizational mission, values, and standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver focused respiratory care to patients with conditions such as COPD, pneumonia, and asthma.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams while maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Provide patient education and support recovery efforts.

Requirements

• Graduate of a state-approved School of Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the state or compact license.
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider certification or completion within probation period.
• Additional certifications may be required based on role.
