Registered Nurse - Part Time - Days

About the Role

This role involves providing holistic, patient-centered nursing care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, adhering to the ANA code of ethics and Ohio Nurse Practice Act.

Responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, psychosocial, spiritual, and educational needs.
• Collaborating with the healthcare team to develop, communicate, and revise individualized care plans with measurable goals.
• Implementing evidence-based interventions, prioritizing patient safety, and responding effectively to emergencies.
• Continuously evaluating patient responses and adjusting care plans accordingly.
• Documenting care accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Exhibiting leadership by mentoring peers, participating in quality improvement activities, and supporting professional development.
• Maintaining competency through ongoing education, certifications, and community engagement.

Requirements

• Current Ohio RN licensure and BLS certification; ACLS within six months for certain units.
• Strong communication, cultural competence, and ability to work collaboratively.
• Educational requirement of a BSN within five years of employment.
• No prior experience necessary.

Qualifications

• Participation in professional organizations and ongoing certification preferred.
