Registered Nurse - Part-time

About the role

Provides direct nursing care in a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU), implementing and monitoring patient care plans, assessing patient conditions, and coordinating multidisciplinary care. Serves as a primary coordinator for patient care and ensures physician and nursing orders are followed. Assists in discharge planning and collaborates with the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse credential from the Alabama Board of Nursing.
• CPR (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire or transfer, accepted from American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Advanced Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire or transfer, accepted from American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing school required.
