Registered Nurse - Medical (Days)

Join our nursing team in providing specialized patient care! This role involves utilizing the nursing process to deliver comprehensive care, ensuring patient rights and confidentiality are maintained. Responsibilities include evaluating care effectiveness, coordinating with other departments, and maintaining professional accountability in line with organizational standards. Position involves working on a 36-bed specialty unit caring for adult medical-surgical patients with neurological, renal, and urologic conditions. Care for patients with diagnoses such as stroke, seizure disorders, kidney disease, electrolyte imbalances, urinary tract infections, and post-urologic procedures.Perform duties involving Foley catheters, nephrostomy tubes, CBI, dialysis access, enteral feeding tubes, and telemetry monitoring. Qualifications Include Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN)Current RN license in the hiring state or compact licenseBLS certification required, ACLS certification required or obtained within 90 days of hire Skills and experience in neurological assessments, fluid and electrolyte management, renal medication monitoring, and multidisciplinary coordination are preferred.
