Registered Nurse - Med/Surg - Per Diem - Night Shift

Position: Per Diem Registered Nurse in Med/Surg units, providing safe, effective, and compassionate patient care. Responsibilities: Independently deliver nursing care, utilize the nursing process for planning and evaluating patient treatment, guide unlicensed assistive personnel, and collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal outcomes. Qualifications: Current IL nursing license, graduate from an NLN-accredited nursing school (BSN preferred), BLS certification, active NIHSS certification, and minimum two years of recent acute care med/surg experience with telemetry competence. Skills & Requirements: Ability to perform and demonstrate telemetry skills within 14 days, experience in medical-surgical care, and strong communication skills. Additional Details: Night shift with weekend and holiday requirements, flexible hours based on level commitment, and travel to primary and secondary sites.
