Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery - Night Shift

Position Overview: Provides professional nursing care in labor and delivery, adhering to state regulations and hospital policies. Utilizes critical thinking to assess patient conditions, monitor progress, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care, and document observations. Delegates tasks appropriately and collaborates as part of a team to meet unit goals. Qualifications & Skills Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; if only an Associate Degree, must obtain a Bachelor’s Degree within five years.Current Illinois RN licensure.Current BLS certification; ACLS, C-EFM, and NRP certifications required within specified timeframes.Labor and delivery experience preferred. Responsibilities: Deliver safe, effective care, recognize patient changes, document observations, and delegate tasks as appropriate. Functions as a team member to achieve unit objectives.
