Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery - Night Shift

Position Overview: Provides professional nursing care in a labor and delivery setting, adhering to state laws and hospital policies. Utilizes critical thinking to assess patient conditions, recognize changes, plan, evaluate, and document care. Delegates appropriate tasks and collaborates with the healthcare team to achieve unit goals. Qualifications & Skills Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree required within five years if only an Associate Degree.Current Illinois RN licensure, BLS certification, ACLS (within six months), C-EFM (within one year), and NRP (within six months).Preferred: Labor and delivery RN experience. Key Duties Assess patients, monitor progress, recognize changes, and document observations.Delegate care tasks appropriately and work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
