Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery - Night Shift

About the role

Provides professional nursing care in a Labor & Delivery setting, following hospital policies and the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act. Utilizes critical thinking to assess patient conditions, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, and document observations. Delegates tasks appropriately and collaborates with the healthcare team to achieve unit goals.

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care

• Support patient and family needs during labor and delivery
• Function as part of a team, ensuring quality care and safety

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or higher in Nursing
• Current Illinois RN licensure
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• ACLS, C-EFM, and NRP certifications within specified timeframes
• Labor and delivery RN experience preferred
