Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery - Night Shift

Position: Registered Nurse – Night Shift The Registered Nurse provides safe, compassionate care by planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans. They collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes, assess patient health data, and communicate effectively with patients and families. The role involves individualized patient education, support, and participation in performance improvement activities. The RN assists with technical procedures such as injections, venipuncture, and IV management, and may conduct wound/ostomy/skin care rounds if skilled. They adhere to HIPAA regulations and support patient transport as needed. Qualifications Current IL Nursing LicenseGraduate of an NLN-accredited nursing program; BSN preferredBLS/CPR Certification from the American Heart Association2+ years of Labor and Delivery or acute care experience preferred Skills & Responsibilities: Develop and evaluate care plans, communicate with interdisciplinary teams, provide patient education, support professional development, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
