Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery - Night Shift

Position: Registered Nurse, Night Shift Location: Evanston Hospital Hours: 1900-0730 with weekend rotation Pay Range: $37.25 - $57.74 per hour, based on experience Sign-on Bonus: $25,000 for candidates with 18+ months Labor and Delivery experience Responsibilities Provide safe, compassionate nursing care across patient populations by developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans.Assess patient health data, communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team, and document care activities.Educate patients and families, considering cultural and learning needs, and support disease management and emergency care education.Collaborate with healthcare team members, participate in performance improvement and research activities, and support staff development.Assist with technical procedures, including injections, venipuncture, and IV management, and participate in patient transport when needed.Monitor wound, ostomy, and skin care patients if skilled, ensuring effective treatment plans.Comply with HIPAA regulations and provide psychological support to patients. Qualifications & Skills: Current IL RN license and graduation from an NLN-accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association.Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery or acute care nursing experience preferred.
