Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery - Night Shift

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care by developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans.
• Assess patient health data and communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Educate patients on health management and support professional development of colleagues.
• Assist with technical procedures and participate in performance improvement and research activities.
• Conduct wound/ostomy/skin care rounds if skilled.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and assist in patient transport as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team, individualize patient education, and contribute to clinical environment.
• Maintain compliance with regulations to deliver high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• Current IL RN license.
• Graduate of an NLN-accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification from American Heart Association.
• 2+ years of Labor and Delivery or acute care experience preferred.
• Labor and Delivery experience is a plus.
