Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery - Night Shift

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care by developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care plans.
• Assess patient health data, communicate care plans effectively to patients and teams, and document all interventions.
• Educate patients and families, considering cultural and learning needs, and support disease management and emergency care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and participate in performance improvement and research activities.
• Assist with technical procedures, monitor wound/ostomy/skin care, and support patient transportation as needed.

Requirements

• Current IL nursing license and graduation from an NLN-accredited school; BSN preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
• At least 2 years of labor and delivery or acute care nursing experience preferred.
• Strong communication, assessment, and teamwork skills.
