Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery - Night Shift

Role Overview

This position involves providing specialized nursing care in a labor and delivery setting, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Responsibilities include monitoring fetal and maternal health, administering treatments, and collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver quality care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor fetal and maternal conditions using Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM)
• Administer medications and manage labor processes
• Respond to emergencies with Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) protocols
• Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with protocols
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications & Skills

• Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; Bachelor's Degree required within five years if holding an Associate Degree
• Current Illinois RN licensure and BLS certification
• ACLS certification within six months; NRP and C-EFM certifications within specified timeframes
• Preferred: 2+ years of labor and delivery experience
