Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery - Night Shift

About the Role

The Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery provides safe, compassionate care by developing, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans. They collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal outcomes, conduct assessments, communicate effectively with patients and families, and tailor education to individual needs. The nurse supports professional development, participates in performance improvement and research activities, and assists with technical procedures such as injections and IV management. They also monitor wound and skin care, assist with patient transport, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Requirements

• Current Illinois RN license and graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)
• BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery or acute care nursing experience (preferred)
