Job Summary and Qualifications

Sought is a highly skilled, compassionate Labor and Delivery registered nurse to deliver exceptional direct patient care in our Labor and Delivery setting. In this role, you will provide assessment and planning for individualized patient care. Our team is amazing, we consider ourselves a family who work hard to support each other and we are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with physicians about changes in patients’ clinical condition
  • Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment
  • Act in a composed and professional manner, especially under pressure
  • Perform general nursing duties in all Maternal Child Health departments with adequate supervision
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient charts
  • Participate in performance improvement activities
  • Act as the patient’s advocate, as circumstances require

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
  • Current California Registered Nurse License
  • A minimum of 1 year of acute care experience in Labor & Delivery required
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
  • Current NRP required
  • National RN certification preferred

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
  • Current California Registered Nurse License
  • A minimum of 1 year of acute care experience in Labor & Delivery required
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
  • Current NRP required
