Responsibilities
- Executing direct nursing care while upholding strict organizational standards and medical protocols.
- Actively implementing care plans, tracking patient progress, and documenting clinical changes in real-time.
- Serving as the central point of contact to ensure seamless communication between all healthcare disciplines.
- Proactively assessing and organizing the resources needed for a safe and successful patient discharge.
Requirements
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
- Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) obtained within 6 months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR required professional licensure at time of hire.
