About the role
As a Registered Nurse in the Labor and Delivery Department at HCA HealthONE Mountain Ridge, you’ll have staffing support, technology, and resources to deliver safe, high-quality care. This role allows you to focus on patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care needs, including obtaining patient history and assessing for labor risk factors.
- Manage patient pain, including epidural and patient-controlled analgesia administration.
- Provide age-appropriate care based on physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety, and learning needs of the patient.
- Perform delegated duties consistent with your scope of practice and within the philosophy and plan of care delivery.
Requirements
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing (BSN desirable).
- Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Colorado or a current RN compact license from another state for the first 180 days of employment.
- Current BCLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
- Prior Mom Baby or Labor and Delivery RN experience preferred.
