Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery
About the Role
Provide direct nursing care to high-risk labor and delivery patients following established protocols and guidelines. Implement and monitor individualized care plans for laboring patients, recording and communicating any changes in condition. Serve as the primary coordinator for all healthcare disciplines involved in high-risk deliveries. Execute physician and nursing orders and coordinate with the healthcare team for discharge planning and follow-up care.
Location & Schedule
Hoffman Estates, IL at Ascension Saint Alexius. Night shift, full-time.
Pay
Salary range: $42.43 - $55.91 per hour. Sign-on bonus up to $12,500.00.
Requirements
- BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
- Registered Nurse credential from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year of RN acute care experience.
