Registered Nurse - Intermediate Care Unit - Days

Role Overview

The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care in a step-down unit specializing in advanced stroke and critical patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assessing and reassessing patient health needs across different age groups
• Developing nursing diagnoses and expected outcomes in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare team
• Implementing and coordinating evidence-based interventions to achieve patient goals
• Evaluating patient progress and discharge planning using critical thinking and current knowledge
• Adhering to professional practice standards and regulations

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma, ADN required; BSN or MSN preferred
• Previous healthcare experience preferred, with equivalent education and experience accepted
• Current Oklahoma RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with ongoing maintenance
• New graduates must complete a nurse residency program
