Registered Nurse - Intermediate Care

Responsibilities

Perform patient assessments, develop and evaluate care plans, administer medications, perform treatments including IV therapy, review physician orders, document patient responses, and provide education to patients and families. Manage delegated care and ensure continuity by communicating effectively with team members and providing comprehensive reports to shift leaders.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience, preferably in acute or ICU settings
• ADN or BSN degree and a valid RN license
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and trauma care are preferred or must be obtained
• Strong assessment, communication, and clinical skills are essential

Key Duties

• Conduct admissions assessments, create and revise care plans, document interventions and patient responses
• Ensure accurate execution of physician orders, and educate patients and families
• Supervise non-licensed staff and ensure high-quality, safe patient care
