About the role
Provide patient care in a rural Medsurg unit with intermediate/PCU experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive assessments to identify patient needs, integrating subjective and objective data.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust individualized care plans.
- Advocate for patients, educate them, and ensure timely completion of treatments.
- Administer medications, provide routine nursing care, and respond to critical situations.
- Monitor patient progress and modify care plans to meet evolving needs.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum one year of acute nursing experience; intermediate care/PCU experience preferred.
- Current RN licensure and BLS certification required.
