Registered Nurse - Infant Special Care Unit - Night and Day Rotations

Position: Registered Nurse – Infant Special Care Unit Location: Evanston, IL Type: Full-time, 36 hours/week Hours: 0700-1930 and 1900-0730, with weekend rotation; float as needed Responsibilities Provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in the ISCU independentlyUtilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient careGuide and supervise unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary careCollaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of careContribute to safety outcomes and promote high-quality patient experiences Qualifications & Skills Graduate from an NLN-accredited nursing program; BSN preferredCurrent IL nursing license and BLS/CPR certification (AHA)At least 1 year of acute care or ISCU experience; NICU/ISCU experience preferred Benefits include: shift differentials, annual performance increases, career development, medical/dental/vision, tuition reimbursement, wellness plans, retirement options, PTO, and community involvement opportunities.
