Registered Nurse - Infant Special Care Unit - Night and Day Rotations

About the role

Location: Evanston, IL. Hours: Full-time, 36 hours/week, with shifts from 0700-1930 and 1900-0730, including weekend rotation; float coverage when needed.

Responsibilities

• Providing safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in the ISCU independently
• Using the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Guiding and supervising unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary care
• Collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
• Promoting safety and high-quality patient experiences

Qualifications

• Graduate of an NLN-accredited nursing program; BSN preferred
• Current IL nursing license
• BLS/CPR certification from AHA required
• At least 1 year of acute care or ISCU experience; NICU/ISCU experience preferred
