Registered Nurse - ICU
About the Role
An opportunity for a Registered Nurse to support our vision and serve as a compassionate and transforming healing presence in our community. This role is on 2 South, a 30-bed unit inclusive of Adult Trauma, Neuro, Cardiothoracic, Surgical, and Medical ICU patients (mixed patient populations).
Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse is accountable for the management of patient care during a designated timeframe. Responsibilities include coordination and evaluation of care, teaching, and delegation of patient activities to other healthcare team members via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, and the environment.
Requirements
- Current Michigan Nursing License
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- BSN degree preferred or must agree in writing to obtain a BSN within five years
- BLS certification required
- ACLS within 6 months of hire/transfer
- Previous Critical Care experience preferred
