About the role
Provide compassionate, team-based nursing care in the Intensive Care Unit at UAB St. Vincent’s St. Clair.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care following organizational policies and protocols.
- Implement, monitor, and communicate patient care plans.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary efforts for patient care.
- Execute physician and nursing orders accurately.
- Assess and coordinate discharge planning with the healthcare team.
Requirements
- Valid licensure as a Registered Nurse from the Alabama Board of Nursing.
- Current BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
- Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months of hire.
- Diploma from an accredited nursing program.
Schedule
- Full-time night shifts (3 × 12-hour shifts).
- PRN nights and rotating shifts.
