Registered Nurse - ICU

About the role

We are seeking a Full-Time Night Shift Registered Nurse for the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU).

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill adult patients with complex medical conditions such as sepsis, respiratory failure, and multi-organ dysfunction.
• Manage patients requiring advanced interventions like mechanical ventilation, renal therapy, vasoactive infusions, and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Perform thorough patient assessments, recognize subtle changes, and initiate evidence-based interventions.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies with critical thinking and clinical judgment.
• Educate patients and families, maintain accurate documentation, and contribute to quality improvement efforts.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program, with a BSN or ADN required.
• Current, valid RN license in the appropriate state.
• At least one year of ICU, critical care, or relevant acute care experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications, or ability to obtain them as per organizational guidelines.
