About the role
This position involves providing advanced, individualized patient care in an ICU setting, ensuring optimal recovery and health outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Implement and manage comprehensive patient care plans in a critical environment.
- Coordinate care across multidisciplinary teams including physicians, specialists, and therapists.
- Execute physician and nursing orders with accuracy, maintaining high standards of quality and continuity.
- Monitor patient data closely, communicating subtle changes to the care team for timely interventions.
- Assist patients and families with assessments, discharge planning, and resource provision for safe transitions home.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing or a valid multi-state license.
- Advanced Life Support certification obtained within 6 months of hire.
- Basic Life Support certification obtained within 1 month of hire.
- Diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent professional licensure.
