Registered Nurse - Head Nurse

Role Overview The Head Nurse oversees patient care, staff management, and daily operations within a specific nursing department. They utilize the nursing process to make critical decisions, working collaboratively with patients and families to promote health and uphold patient dignity and rights. Provides clinical leadership by guiding nursing staff, ensuring continuity of care aligned with hospital policies and goals, and supporting the implementation of innovative processes to improve patient outcomes. Actively participates in clinical leadership activities such as coaching, mentoring, staffing, and performance evaluations. Engages in initiatives to enhance healthcare delivery and fosters a culture of lifelong learning. Completes additional duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of 2 years experience in the current unit or a similar setting.Computer literacy.RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire; ACLS preferred.
