Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to plan and provide direct resident care.
- Manage shift routines and supervise personnel as the person “in charge” per the Nurse Practice Act.
- Provide leadership and direction within the assigned unit.
- Perform resident care functions, charting, documentation, and assessments.
- Participate in committees and interdisciplinary meetings to improve care.
- Assume “Building Charge” responsibilities as directed.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state.
- CPR certification.
