About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver patient-centered care using the nursing process.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, ensuring adherence to professional standards, patient rights, and confidentiality.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care and evaluate care effectiveness.
- Maintain licensure, certifications (such as BLS, and possibly ACLS, NRP, or PALS), and meet state board requirements.
- Perform physical duties including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, walking, reaching, bending, and squatting.
- Bring a compassionate approach to serve a rural community in a critical access hospital setting with Swing beds and emergency services.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (associate's, diploma, or BSN).
- Current RN license in the state or compact licensure.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire; additional certifications based on unit needs.
