About the role
Provide patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating the effectiveness of care delivered by team members.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care across departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.
- Perform nursing duties aligned with the organization’s mission, values, and standards.
- Participate in a multidisciplinary team to assist patients in regaining independence and preparing for discharge.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (associate, diploma, or BSN).
- Current RN license in the applicable state or compact licensure, with ongoing compliance.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or ENPC may be required based on the unit.
Skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb, stand, walk, and perform various movements necessary for patient care.
