Registered Nurse - Full Time - Medical Surgical - Night Shift

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg 5E Responsibilities: Utilize the nursing process to provide comprehensive patient care, evaluate care effectiveness, coordinate with other departments, maintain patient rights and confidentiality, and perform duties aligned with organizational standards and values. Unit Overview: Provides care for adult medical patients with diagnoses such as bowel obstructions, respiratory infections, cellulitis, diverticulitis, and pneumonia. Offers opportunities to develop skills in patient assessment, time management, and complex care coordination through multidisciplinary teamwork. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree, Diploma, or BSN)Current RN license in Missouri or valid compact licensureBasic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hirePreferred: BSN, additional certifications, and relevant clinical experience Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform various physical movements necessary for nursing duties.
