Registered Nurse - Float Pool - Multiple Shifts

Department: Float Staffing (ICU, ED, Medsurg) – UAB St. Vincent's St. Clair

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care following organizational policies and protocols.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans; communicate patient conditions effectively.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary team efforts for comprehensive patient care.
• Follow physician and nursing orders accurately.
• Assess patient needs and collaborate with healthcare team members.

Requirements

• Licensed Registered Nurse credential from the Alabama Board of Nursing.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire, accepted from American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing school and at least one year of nursing experience.

Schedule

Full-time night shifts.
