About the role
We are seeking experienced RN professionals for a hospital expanding its ER and ICU units.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain appropriate staffing ratios, primarily 3:1 on high acuity units
- Manage patient transfers for complex cases such as major burns and neurosurgery
- Ensure safety and comfort through physical tasks like lifting and prolonged standing
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN)
- Current RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure
- At least 1 year of ER experience preferred
- Certifications including BLS, with additional certifications like ACLS, PALS, TNCC, or others based on unit requirements
Skills and Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform physical tasks
- Proficiency in patient assessment, emergency procedures, and teamwork
