Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (Nights)

About the role

Seeking experienced RN professionals for a hospital expansion with increased ER and ICU capacity, enabling better community care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in ER and ICU settings according to clinical standards.
• Maintain staffing ratios of 3:1 on high acuity units, with flexibility for 4:1 as needed.
• Manage patient transfers, primarily handling in-house cases, with transfers reserved for complex surgeries or burns.
• Perform physical duties including lifting up to 50 lbs, prolonged standing, and various movements such as bending and reaching.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in the state or compact licensure.
• At least 1 year of ER experience preferred.
• Certifications including BLS required; additional certifications like ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, or others may be necessary based on department needs.
