Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (Nights)

Position Overview This role involves providing high-quality nursing care in a newly expanded Emergency Room and ICU, supporting approximately 25,000 additional patient visits annually. The RN will be responsible for patient assessment, administering treatments, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN), current RN licensure, and at least 1 year of ER experience preferred.Certifications: BLS through the American Heart Association (or within 30 days of hire); additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, or other unit-specific credentials may be required based on department needs.Key Responsibilities: Managing patient care in high-acuity settings with staffing ratios of 3:1 or 4:1, and handling complex cases like major burns and neurosurgery in-house.Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform tasks involving reaching, bending, kneeling, and twisting.
