Role Overview: This position involves providing specialized cardiac care in a hospital setting, focusing on patients requiring advanced support such as ECMO, Impella, IABP, and VAD, particularly those in cardiogenic shock. Responsibilities include managing post-surgical patients, including those who have undergone CABG, valve replacement, or transplants, with tasks like chest tube management, titrating inotropes and vasopressors based on monitoring data, and responding swiftly to emergencies like tamponade, arrhythmias, or hemorrhage.
